Taylor's Lakeside Model United Nations (TLMUN) Conference is an annual Model United Nations (MUN) conference bringing together delegates from around the world to simulate the United Nations. Over three days, participants represent different countries in UN committees, debating and solving pressing global issues through diplomacy and negotiation.
In 2025, now the 8th iteration of the TLMUN Conference, our theme, "All's Fair in Love and War," explores the complex moral landscape of international relations, where delegates must navigate competing interests, ethical dilemmas, and pragmatic decisions that shape global affairs.
Having its roots as early as 2015 and having established itself as what it is today in 2018, the Taylor's Lakeside Model United Nations (TLMUN) Club is a youth-led Model United Nations organization located at Taylor's Lakeside Campus, Malaysia.
Being the platform for all Taylorians to broaden their perspectives, our members gain insight into various social-political and geostrategic issues around the world, being equipped to debate and speak out on such issues of global importance. Through means such as Model United Nations, skills such as public speaking, debating, negotiation, leadership and policy-making are solidified and enhanced. We deliver events such as coffee talk sessions, speakers' panel sessions and 'mamak' sessions, alongside our annual flagship conference organized, Taylor's Lakeside Model United Nations Conference, where participants from Malaysia and the world come together to debate and learn about the world around us.
